The Miss Universe Thailand 2023 grand coronation event was held on August 20, 2023, in MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan, Nonthaburi, Thailand. Anntonia Porsild a 26-year-old beauty, of Nakhon Ratchasima province, was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2023 by Anna Sueangam-iam. The outgoing queen Anntonia will represent Thailand at the 72nd Miss Universe 2023 contest in El Salvador on November 18, 2023. Her runner-ups included Kirana Jasmine Chewter from Mae Hong Son, Praveenar Singh-Thakral of Phuket, Chatnalin Chotjirawarachat from Prachuap Khiri Khan, and Nicha Poonpoka of Lamphun. The spectacular show was telecast on the Miss Universe Youtube Channel as well as PPTVHD36 for national viewers in Thailand. Alongside winning the main title, Anntonia also received many special awards like the Onstage Beauty Award, Queen of Thai Textile, Miss Denta White Aotura, Miss Rising Empowerment, and City Commerce Queen.
Who is Anntonia Porsild?
Born on November 2, 1996, when a beautiful baby girl was born to a Danish father Morten Porsild, and a Thai mother Tanradee “Nee” Porsild. Fun fact: I am a Scorpio and we are passionate, creative, and headstrong and we are not afraid to chase after our dream. She has a younger brother named Christopher Porsild. Ann grew up in many countries including Thailand, India, Vietnam, Denmark, and Spain. She is fluent in English and Thai languages. From 2009 to 2015, she attended the International School Ho Chin Minh City in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. “The Face of Thailand” Season 1, which aired in October 2014. She competed against 14 other contestants and finished 10th. Standing at the towering height of 175cm 5 feet 9 inches tall, Anntonia has previous modeling experience working nationally and internationally for many brands in different countries.
What is Anntonia's Social Advocacy
From an early age, Anntonia has been involved in social work as her mother inspired her to give back to the community. From August 2013 to January 2015, she was an Operation Smile student volunteer and this experience has motivated her to start her own advocacy called Little Steps Projects founded in 2015. A community, activity, and service charity project that focuses on giving back to local communities in Thailand. As the founder of Little Steps, Anntonia has helped build a school library for children in Nakhon Ratchasima Province which is also her mother’s hometown. Social work she has been active for 10 years ago, her humanitarian work as she has helped thousands of people’s lives through her little steps project. What is Anntonia's Education Background?
In 2017, she studied public relations and communications at EU Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Living in so many different countries has helped Ann to be a global citizen and understand and respect different cultures from around the world. On December 11, 2022, she graduated from Stamford International University in Bangkok with a Bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations.
Miss Supranational 2019 Anntonia Porsild
On September 25, 2019, she was crowned Miss Supranational Thailand 2019 at The Bazaar Theater in Bangkok, Thailand. Ann represented Thailand at Miss Supranational 2019 in Poland where she became the international winner. Due to the lockdown, Anntonia had two years of reign and she got to travel to many countries. Even the Miss Supranational organization is fine with her decision as they posted congratulating her victory after the final event. This shows Miss Supranational organization is happy with their titleholder going to Miss Universe. Miss Supranational was a good learning process for Anntonia to improve herself and develop her skills further so, she can use those attributes to Miss Universe. She has already done a great job and completed her reign and crowned her successor; she has gone on to a bigger opportunity.

On 20 August 2023, Anntonia Porsild delivered an outstanding performance from Day 1 until the final event and she showed everyone why she deserves to represent Thailand at the Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador. Anntonia is the definition of an empowered woman who has been helping uplift her community on a small scale and now with this title, she can use this platform to elevate and give global attention to this incredible social work called Little Steps. Just like the name of her project, doing small actions which help other people live even if it’s small actions like donating food, clothes, or school supplies. Many people live in villages and the countryside where they don’t have access to quality education and lack basic necessities. She has been doing this long before she enters the beauty pageant industry back in 2013, it has been 10 years since then. She has the vision and direction to help Thailand reach closer to the Miss Universe crown after 35 long years. She has relevant advocacy with substance, a positive attitude, and good communication skills with a breathtaking stage presence. This is just the new beginning for Miss Universe Thailand Anntonia Porsild, she is in the right direction to find the Light of Glory and help the local communities so they too can have a better future and help their families.
